After 20 years in clinical operations, clinical development, and medical affairs, Jan-Henrik appreciates the importance of collaboration between all health system stakeholders nationally as well as internationally to achieve meaningful and sustainable impact on science and healthcare. This is especially true when the joint focus on improving patient outcome is genuine and immediately palpable.

Starting in clinical anaesthesiology, then moving to the pharmaceutical industry Jan-Henrik has continuously been interested in innovative science and improving real-world patient outcomes. He is grateful and proud to having had the opportunity to contribute to many advances in oncology and haematology over two decades.

As the CSO at the Swiss Cancer Institute Jan-Henrik leads a team of scientists who all say the same: we understand how our daily work connects to our bigger purpose: making evidence-based therapies accessible to patients today and in the future, faster.
