With patients. For patients.

Patient involvement is more than just a principle for us - it is part of our everyday research.

Patient involvement is part of our everyday research

We actively involve our Patient Council in the early phase of a research project. In this way, we ensure that the perspective of people affected by cancer is taken into account right from the start - in the planning, implementation and evaluation of every clinical trial.

The Patient Council shows the researchers:
  • what it means to participate in a study as an affected person
  • which concerns and expectations are central for those affected
  • and how studies can be designed to be understandable, accessible and relevant to everyday life

The Patient Council is also actively involved in specific study details - such as the measurement parameters, the study process or the communication of results. In this way, we ensure that our research is not only scientifically sound, but also meaningful and comprehensible for participants.
