The core of our initiative to promote young talent is the Young Oncology Academy, a support and mentoring program for young oncologists. The program is aimed at junior doctors with a clear focus on cancer medicine, haematology, radio-oncology, urology, gynaecology, pathology or dermatology who would like to make an active contribution to clinical and translational research.

Academy participants are supervised by a renowned faculty member for almost a year. The main focus is to give the young talents an insight into the successful development, management, implementation and publication of a clinical study. As part of the Academy, participants also attend the ESMO, EHA (for hematologists) or ESTRO (for radiation oncologists) congress.
