Projects
Projects must be research-projects focused on improving clinical care pathways in oncology or hematology and demonstrate potential for systemic impact in Switzerland. Projects may be planned or ongoing and can be a distinct workstream within a larger initiative, provided the submitted component contributes substantially to an overarching care transformation goal. Projects demonstrate clear potential to scale beyond a single site, improve equity and efficiency of care, and generate outcomes-oriented evidence suitable for dissemination and policy dialogue.
Out of Scope Projects
- Basic science projects without direct, near-term clinical pathway impact
- Projects lacking measurable outcomes or feasibility within 24 months
- Projects centered on non-oncology indications or conducted primarily outside Switzerland
- Projects centered on non-clinically validated technology solutions
Application
Full applications shall include:
- Project proposal (see Eligible Projects) max. 5 pages including the rationale, methodology, feasibility, budget and potential impact
- Curriculum vitae of the candidate
- Letter of support from the respective head of the candidate’s current institution, incl. guarantee to provide sufficient research time for the project
- If the candidate institution is not part of the SCI Network, an additional letter of support from the project partner within the SCI network is required.
- Publication list of the candidate (peer-reviewed original publications)
- If applicable, any other relevant information or documentation
