Network for genetic cancer predisposition testing and risk counseling
Network for Cancer Predisposition Testing and Counseling
The researchers working in the network maintain a regular scientific exchange in indication-specific project and working groups as well as specialist sections. Study proposals are initiated and further developed in these specialist committees and submitted to the Executive Board for evaluation.
The sections and networks bring together representatives from various disciplines who are involved in Swiss Cancer Institute studies. The sections and networks maintain contacts with other specialist bodies and perform an important educational function.
Aims of the network for genetic cancer predisposition testing and risk counseling

3) Develop guidelines in the area of cancer predisposition testing and care for genetic high risk cancer.
The CPTC network is made up of representatives from various healthcare disciplines, including medical genetics, medical oncology, pathology, hematology, radiation oncology and surgery, laboratory medicine and representatives of other healthcare professions.
