Re-Election of the President and Vice President of the Working Group Head and Neck Cancer
We are pleased to inform you that the current leadership of the Working Group Head and Neck Cancer at the Swiss Cancer Institute has been re-elected.
Dr.ssa med. Vittoria Espeli (EOC Ente Ospedaliero Cantonale) will continue as President, and Prof. Dr. med. Panagiotis Balermpas (USZ University Hospital Zurich) will continue as Vice President.
We look forward to the continued successful work of the Working Group and to further constructive collaboration.
The Working Group Head and Neck Cancer aims to promote the design of multidisciplinary clinical trials addressing unmet needs in squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck, from locally curable disease to the palliative situation. In addition, the group offers educational opportunities, identifies new research projects, and issues guidelines for the treatment of squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck.
