Patient forum: The role of those affected

Clinical research in oncology is not only an important factor in improving therapy, but also contributes to a high quality of treatment.

On June 5, interested parties can find out about the opportunities and risks of participating in a trial at the Patient Forum at the University of Lucerne. This event is aimed at people affected by cancer and their loved ones. It informs visitors about clinical research in Switzerland, highlights the benefits and risks of trials and encourages them to take part in clinical trials.

The event is organized by the SAKK Patient Council, which also sheds light on the role of patient councils in clinical research.
